Soroptimist International (SI) Loomis Basin is offering Take-out St. Patrick’s Day Dinner featuring Country Natural Beef as part of a March 17, 2022 fundraiser that supports scholarships, education grants and career exploration projects that empower women and girls to realize their potential.
The corned beef has been donated by Country Natural Beef. The co-op of over 90 family-owned ranches is committed to selling naturally raised, responsibly grazed beef to customers across the Western United States, explained Becky Faudree, Manager, Country Natural Beef and Loomis Soroptimist member.
“At Country Natural Beef, supporting our communities, which include: our ranchers, our partners, our customers and our cattle – is the very essence of our co-op,” said Faudree. “We’re proud to be able to support such a great community fundraiser with the Loomis Soroptimist club, whose mission is also to support local communities.”
Order the traditional St. Patrick’s meals for $20 each in advance and pick them up on Thursday, March 17 between 4-7 PM at the Blue Goose Event Center, 3550 Taylor Rd, Loomis. The meals include traditional corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, onions, carrots, roll and cookie.

On St. Patrick’s Day, the SI Loomis club is also donating meals to the senior L.I.F.E. Center members who meet at the Methodist Church in Loomis. The Loomis Soroptimist club was instrumental in the formation of the senior L.I.F.E. Center and has supported this community service since its inception.
The SI Loomis Basin club is a 501(c)(3) organization, fundraises throughout the year to support education programs that create opportunity for women and girls, and welcomes donations. The club gives out scholarships, provides grants to K-8 teachers, delivers career exploration programs to girls in Koinonia Homes for Teens, supports Acres of Hope and participates in international projects that empower women through education.
