Nancy Vigran, Loomis News reporter, asked several Soroptimist International Basin club members to participate in the “Word on the Street” column published on April 16, 2020. Vigran asked members:
What are you doing to maintain good mental health during these difficult times of the Coronavirus and Stay-at-Home orders?

- Taking online calisthenics classes
- Preparing healthy meals
- Taking time to meditate daily
- Walking every day
- Caring for elderly family members
They are working to overcome COVID-19 challenges:
- Participating in the Loomis Emergency Business Task Force
- Ordering take-out meals to support Loomis restaurants
- Sewing masks with club members with Days4Girls to support Masks4Millions
- One club member sewed over 120 masks
- Leading a free online Inner Outer Movement Ritual
