Saturday evening was full of merriment as the community celebrated it’s annual Loomis Family Christmas downtown.  This year, several community service organizations including the American Legion, Rotary Club, Soroptimist Club, Lion’s Club, and the Gold Country Chaplaincy,  came together to put on the festivities that culminated in the lighting of the town’s Christmas tree.  Entertainment included Christmas carols sung by the Loomis District Chorus, music from the Randy Richards Koinonia Band, and a live nativity scene.
