Girl’s Night Out on January 23 – It’s in the Bag Designer Purse Event Raises Funds for Loomis Soroptimist

January 7, 2019 (LOOMIS, CA) – Soroptimist International (SI) of Loomis Basin will host the sixth annual “It’s in the Bag” designer purse event fundraiser on Wednesday, January 23, 2019.

This “Ultimate Girls Night Out,” benefit will be held at the Blue Goose Event Center, located at 3550 Taylor Rd. in Loomis from 6 to 8:30 PM (doors open at 5 PM). Tickets are $40 and available by calling Hebard Insurance & Tax at 916-652-0404 or dropping by the Loomis Chamber of Commerce office at 6090 Horseshoe Bar Rd, Loomis.

Tickets include dinner, bottled water, table games and door prizes. Alcohol and purse raffle tickets will be sold separately. Attendees purchase tickets and place them next to the designer purses they’d like to win in the drawing.

SI Loomis Basin is part of a worldwide organization that supports education projects benefiting women and girls. The Loomis club provides grants to teachers, a high school scholarship and the Live Your Dream Award to help women who are going back to school to support their families. Additionally, the Loomis club conducts the Soroptimist International Dream It Be It program with Koinonia Foster Homes/Group Homes help girls overcome obstacles and plan for their future success. The club also supports the Loomis Senior L.I.F.E. Center and sewed hundreds of fashions for Dress A Girl Around the World.
